Shimano had had a long association with Beastmaster, and the resurrection of the name through thi series implies tough rods for tough fish under tough conditions.With 27 rods to choose from, this is Shimano’s most comprehensive rods series yet, containing spin, baitcasters, three piece travel rods, game rods and rock/surf rods. Several general estuary sticks as well as a 4.57 meter (15ft) surf/rock fishing rod are included. Most of the range makes use of Shimano’s Integrated Solid Glass Tip, which is designed to take the knocks. The dark blanks are set off beautifully by the metallic blue and gold bindings, two piece rods make use of glass-to-glass ferrules, and quality guides and fittings are used throughout.
