Shimano Singapore Pte Ltd-distributor of Shimano’s fishing tackles products and Powerpro fishing lines in South-East Asia and South Asia region , is pleased and proud to announce and introduce their very own Team Yumeya Fishing team and their team members during Shimano’s annual New Product Presentation event, an distinguished event specially crafted for Shimano’s Shop in Shop and Shimano’s Service Center dealers in Malaysia.

Team Yumeya (also known as ) consists of a group of anglers that are officially appointed by Shimano S.E.A as Spokesman and Field-Tester of Shimano’s fishing tackle products in the Region. The members will constantly take part in fishing expedition and trips to try out new and current Shimano fishing tackle products – i.e. Reels, Rods and accessories. Thereafter, the photos and reviews written by them would be published in various regional fishing magazines and also will on Shimano S.E.A. website.

Other than actively involved in the mainstream Sports-fishing methods such as - Jigging, Popping, Trolling and Bottom fishing, Team Yumeya members will also be involved in the trial and reviews on other methods such as Luring, Surf-fishing and Surfcasting in order to create awareness of other fishing styles and eventually create a synergy between those fishing methods and Shimano Fishing Tackle Products.

Not only that, Team Yumeya will also be organizing and conducting programs such as fishing clinics to the public in order to attract new comers to Sport-fishing and also to educate the public on the do and dons of fishing such as practicing Catch and Release in order to preserve our fish population so that future generations could enjoy this fun activity.
