Spiral X Core Spiral X Core Spiral X construction uses three layers: a blank made of vertical fibres, an inner layer and an outer layer, both comprising of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions. By using this carbon tape in place of a conventional horizontal fibre sheet, Spiral X achieves enhanced torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. With Spiral X Core, the use of Carbon Infinity tape made using high-strength materials including *Nanoalloy® technology, further enhances the rod performance. In comparison with Spiral X, torsional & structural rigidity is improved by 10-15%	Hi-Power X Hi-Power X In Hi-Power X construction, the blank's outermost layer is diagonally wrapped with carbon tape, which forms an array of "X" shapes. The width of the tape, its winding angle and the part of the rod being wrapped are fine-tuned according to the target fish species. The flexibility allows Shimano to adjust these wraps during construction for precise actions, enhanced overall strength and added twist resistance. In short, Hi-Power X construction delivers sharp and crisp rod control by the angler.	X-Guide X-Guide Shimano's X guides are original, smaller, lighter yet stronger. With minimal line trouble and a much lighter weight towards the rod tip, these guides make it much easier to cast and more sensitive to underwater conditions conveyed through the line.	Carbon Shell Grip Carbon Shell Grip By binding the grip to the reel seat, Shimano has successfully created a 'shell' made solely of carbon, resulting in the next-gen grip structure. Other than being ridiculously lightweight, this technology helps the rod 'tell' you more things through the feeling on the grip.	Full Carbon Monocoque Full Carbon Monocoque The Full Carbon Monocoque grip is the evolution of the Carbon Monocoque Grip. The complete grip is made of hollow carbon construction, eliminating the use of EVA. This results in a very lightweight construction which is also more sensitive. Compared to the normal Carbon Monoque Grip the sensitivity has increased with 28%.

Tightened with uniform pressure all around, the blank's durability is significantly improved. This fine Nanopitch is what gives the rod an appealing design which feels luxurious to the touch.	MuscleCarbon MuscleCarbon Muscle Carbon is a high-performance material that reduces the gaps between fibers by bundling carbon fibers at a higher density than ordinary carbon materials, and reduces the resin that fills in the gaps. More than that, carbon fiber is bundled at high density, and Ultra Muscle Carbon is produced only by advanced molding technology.
